Soft Linen Pants : Indigo

When you think of linen pants, indigo may not be the first shade that comes to mind, but we think you’ll agree the combination is rather spectacular. 

Paler colours in linen are a fashion staple so the disarming presentation of a darker linen pant is an immediate innovation. We love the darkness of the colour that is still soft, far more charcoal than black, making it flattering and fun. 

This linen is super, super soft, because it’s enzyme treated. It’s fine yet durable.

With two rows of elastic at the waist, you won't get uncomfortable folds and digs from your pants. And the paper-bag top gives a bit of light interest at your waist, which is perfect for pairing with the on-trend higher cut tops out this season.

Importantly, that trim ruffle isn’t so big that it will be ruining a silhouette if you wear a top over it. Honestly, we tried pants without the trim, and they looked a bit… great grandma. The waist is finished with a pull tie for an adjustable fit and bead detail. Wear them high on your waist or lower on your hips, however you wish. 

Pocket placement is everything on these pants. We know that high pockets make you look bigger and low pockets make you look flat. So these are just right to flatter and shape. 

So many linen pants are wide legged and that’s okay on your teenage niece but we ladies like a bit more shape so the are not too wide over the thigh. But they are generous cut and certainly not tight for the size. (Experiment with sizing if you want a looser or slimmer shape for your size.) 

These babies are cut for a belly so they don’t show your belly sticking out like a tomato on a trellis. Naturally the crop will depend on your height, people under 5”4 will find it sits lower towards the ankle while taller friends will have it ⅞ length or even ¾ length if you are above 5”10.
