We’ve taken the babydoll dress and given it a modern twist, with less excess fabric, more shape and super soft fabric that keeps you cool on humid Aussie days and nights. 

If you’ve ever had to sacrifice shape for comfort, you will love this dress. No need to wear a loose sack just to be comfortable ever again! The loose floaty fabric is soft and breathable, yet it has darts and shape in a clever, modern design. The shell buttons contrast beautifully with the beautiful blue, helping create an elongating effect on your torso. 

On hot sticky days you want to feel fresh, comfy and breezy, and this classic dress will deliver. Made from soft cotton, the fabric is breathable and light, with a slimline cut that avoids unnecessary bulk. The style may be simple, but the design is anything but — the slightly angled cuts make a huge difference in how it sits on your body. The result is more shape and flattering angles that look lovely despite the casual appearance. 

The seams come in just under the bust to emphasise that slimmer part of your waist, but it’s darted so it shapes gradually instead of gathering that can add bulk. The v-neck accentuates the bustline and shows just enough skin to avoid looking matronly. The floaty sleeves are cool and flattering, but not too puffy. They won’t cling on your upper arms and make you feel constricted, but will move with you and help you feel relaxed and confident. 

The cut at the back is not overlooked, the seam is lower than the front to elongate and shape your body, yet again avoiding excessive gathering that can look frumpy.  The result is a clean, lengthening shape that will do wonders for the appearance of your torso.

Of course, the length depends on your height but if you’re around average it will hit on or below your knees, being shooter for the taller friends and longer on the shorter among us.
