Linen Tunic: Indigo
Distinctive. Delightful. Divine.
If you love the look of a floaty kaftan but not the bright colours or summer whites, then give this soft indigo a try. We all love black, but it can be unforgiving, and let’s face it — black is not a summer colour. The charcoal grey tones of this indigo tunic have a lovely depth and style that you will love wearing. The classic cut means it’s on trend now but will stay in style for years to come. When you wear it you’ll remember the summer's gone by and look forward to even more days in the breezy sunshine in your future.
If you are avoiding linen because it’s crunchy and cheap, give this a try. Some linens can be stiff and bulky therefore it doesn’t fall very well. Which of course is the last thing you want for comfort and shape. But our linen is completely different. We start with a very finely-woven linen (which yes, makes it more expensive, but totally worth your investment - plus it will absolutely last for years, your cents-per-wear factor will be excellent.)
Our finely-woven linen is then enzyme treated to make it soft, so it falls beautifully from day one. But the best part? The more you wear and wash it, the softer it gets, so it becomes more comfortable and flowy with each wear. And due to the strength of the linen it remains durable and strong.
Linen is so good to wear if you are at the peri or menopause stage, because it’s natural and breathable. This tunic has been carefully cut to flatter your shape. The cap sleeves are short, but just enough fabric to cover any upper arm issues. The seams are designed to artfully arch, giving extra space for your arm, making it appear slimmer (who doesn’t want slimmer arms?).
When you wear floaty kaftan-style tops and dresses, shape is everything. This cut is not just up-and-down, like a bag. Instead, it’s shaped in and out to drape beautifully from your shoulders. The illusion creates curves where they don’t exist and softens the ones you want to hide.
The gorgeous neckline features four rows of beading which take this tunic to the next level. The Pretty pearl beading is all hand stitched, as is the double row of metal bands. It catches the eye and draws the beholder to your face.
Wear this tunic as a dress alone, or if you’re taller (or like to hide your legs) pair it with linen trousers, skirt, shorts or jeans. It’s very summery, but can take you from the pool to dinner with ease.
